Two members of the PROSPER team will arrive in Port Harcourt, where they will stay for 3 days in a Hotel. After hiring a translator (preferably fluent in Khana), they will purchase a vehicle for transportation of material and personnel.

Step 2: Set up Headquarters
Our vanguard team will find a suitable location to establish our headquarters in Bodo. Food, clean water, housing, transportation and network connectivity will all be taken into consideration.

Step 3: The More the Merrier!
Once the headquarters and vehicles have been acquired, other members of PROSPER will arrive to begin implementation. At this point, we will also be focused on locally procuring any materials we can for the remediation process.

Step 4: Initiate Contact with Local Leaders
Once the team is assembled, we will get in touch with local leaders, such as tribal chiefs, pre-existing NGOs, and professors at the University of Port Harcourt. These figures have extensive local knowledge and contacts, and will be able to provide a network with which to disseminate information as well as important facilities for our remediation process. Using these experts’ local information channels, we will approach surrounding villages and gauge their interest regarding participation in our treatment process.
